The criteria by which visa applications are accepted or denied in the United States of America are quite rigorous and in-depth. Each application is carefully examined, and a consul typically conducts interviews with the majority of the candidates.

The procedure is extremely rigid, which may seem difficult and annoying to some people. Particularly when a visa application is rejected and the applicant is left upset and unsure of what to do next.
The consular officer frequently advises applicants to request a waiver of their ineligibility, if necessary in their particular situation.
The grounds for denying a visa could be either temporary or permanent. Those who are temporarily ineligible can reapply for a visa if they become eligible again. While those who have been permanently disqualified cannot reapply unless their disqualification is waived by the Department of Homeland Security.
The common reasons for rejection are:
* Absence of Supporting Documentation or an incomplete Application.
* Public Charge Fraud and Misrepresentation.
* Visa Requirements, and Immigrant Intent.
* Presenting Oneself Illegally in the United States.
Other disqualifications:

Other ineligibilities for obtaining a visa to the US exist in addition to the reasons already given. They are as follows:
1: Reasons related to health.
Those with the following medical conditions are not qualified to apply for a visa to the US:
• If a candidate is found to have a significant communicable disease for public health,
• An applicant who has a physical or mental disorder and behaviors linked to the disorder that could endanger their own or others’ property, safety, or welfare, and who are likely to repeat these behaviors or lead to other harmful behaviors,
• A candidate who is found to be a drug addict or abuser.

Resubmitting a US visa application after being rejected.
If the initial determination of your ineligibility was thought to be temporary, you may reapply for a visa if you believe your circumstances have changed. Whether you qualify for the visa or not will be determined by the consular official.
You still have a chance to obtain a visa even if the consular official determines that you are permanently ineligible but believes that the rest of your application is complete and recommends that you apply for a visa waiver.
Visa Fees are not Refunded.
If a foreigner applying for a visa to visit the US has their application rejected, they will not receive their money back. And if you are reapplying for a visa after being rejected, you have to pay the fees again.
